I am studying how digital mapping techniques can have a positive physical and social impact on the spaces they represent by being a tool of design, education, and interaction by a community. For my thesis I am partnering with a university in the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo to map relevant data of their city and explore how it can be structured into a comprehensive interface that can become a social and spatial innovation tool for the community.
